Refund policy

1 RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REFUNDS

1.1

At the moment of purchase, you have the right of withdrawal, without indicating reasons, within 14 days. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send communication about exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. The right of withdrawal expires after 14 days from the day of notification to customer service, by phone or e-mail, that you want to return the purchased good. All products must be returned in the same condition in which they were received. If the products show visible signs of use and/or damage, Peter Ott may apply a deduction directly from the refund.

1.2

The right of withdrawal does not apply to customized posters, as these are made to order according to the customer's specifications or are clearly tailored to their personal needs and for the supply of sealed goods that do not lend themselves to being returned for hygienic or related health reasons, and were opened after delivery.

1.3

To exercise the right of withdrawal, it is necessary to inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal declaration regarding your decision to withdraw from this contract, by letter or certified e-mail.

1.4

Upon exercising the right of withdrawal, the user will pay a fee for the return shipment and will be responsible for the condition of the product upon receipt of the goods and during the return transport. The product must be returned within 14 days from the date on which exercising the right of withdrawal was communicated to Peter Ott. The product must be shipped well packaged, in the condition in which it arrived and in its original box. Any returns must be sent to Peter Ott in the manner and instructions indicated above.


1.5

When the user withdraws from the purchase, Peter Ott refunds the amount paid for the product, with the exception of the shipping costs for the return.

1.6

Peter Ott reimburses using the same payment method used in the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, no costs will be incurred as a consequence of this reimbursement. The reimbursement may be suspended until the goods are received or until the consumer proves that they have returned the goods, whichever is earliest.

2. WARRANTIES AND COMPLAINTS

2.1

All Peter Ott products are covered by warranty. Information on the duration of the guarantee and specific guarantee conditions for each product can be found on the website or in these Purchase Conditions. The warranty covers only original manufacturing defects, and therefore not failures which occur during or after an alteration in the function and appearance of the product. The order confirmation is valid as a certificate of warranty.

2.2

The warranty covers products that are defective under applicable consumer protection legislation. Customers wishing to claim defects in an ordered product are requested to contact Peter Ott, following the contact information on the website. Complaints submitted within 15 days of the delivery date are deemed to have arrived on time.

2.3

When the customer verifies the presence of a defect in the delivered product, they must contact Peter Ott as described above and prove the defect through photographic and/or video documentation to be sent to the e-mail: refund@peterott.it accompanied by a description of the defect and of the place where it is located. Our team will process your request in a maximum time of 5 working days, after which Peter Ott will send a notification, via the means communicated by the user during checkout, in which they will be notified of the approval or otherwise of the complaint.

2.4

Peter Ott will cover return shipping costs for approved complaints.

When the claimed product is returned and the claim has been approved, Peter Ott will reimburse you in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. Peter Ott will activate the refund to take place within 14 days of receiving the complaint, but this may take longer, depending on the type of product. Peter Ott reserves the right to refuse a claim if the product is not defective as defined in the applicable consumer protection law.

2.6

Peter Ott warranty does to cover faults or damage from:
• external circumstances, eg. loss, theft, fire and damage caused by water and other liquids,

• misuse or negligence, eg. tears, dents, breakage, product fall, etc.,

• cosmetic changes due to the user's normal use, eg. scratches, wear, dust etc.

• accidents or unjustified repairs or modifications to the product not performed by Peter Ott.

Please note that in case of non-observance of the instructions for use and storage, this guarantee will be invalidated. This guarantee does not prejudice or replace more favourable conditions under the law.

3. FORCE MAJEURE

Peter Ott is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances over which he has no control such as general strikes, extreme weather conditions, wars, pandemics, fires, lightning strikes, terrorist attacks, changes in legislation, technical problems, telephone/electrical/telephone communications failures, data or other communications, and errors or delays in the services of suppliers due to circumstances indicated here. These circumstances constitute grounds for acquittal from claims and other penalties. Should such a situation arise, Peter Ott will inform you at both the beginning and the end of the current situation. If the situation persists for more than two months, both Peter Ott and the user have the right to withdraw from the purchase with immediate effect.
